The Application requires access to your device's camera to scan ingredient labels on food, cosmetics, and medicine products. This access is only used to capture the text on the label for analysis. Images captured by the camera are processed ephemerally (locally on your device or briefly for scanning) and are not stored or shared by the Service Provider.
In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device's unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application.
This Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.
Yes, the Application uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process data obtained from scanning product labels (food, cosmetics, and medicine). The scanned label text is analyzed by AI to generate a report based on data sourced from government regulatory bodies. This processing is performed solely to provide the Application's core feature of ingredient analysis. The Service Provider does not use AI to profile users, make automated decisions about individuals, or process any personally identifiable information.
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.
